For Amanda the waters of the Willamette and the streets of Portland have always been home. As a true Oregonian, Amanda never imagined herself falling for someone from another state. But then John moved to Portland, and all reservations about dating a new comer were tossed out the window. Sometimes you just know!

John's time in Portland alone was short lived, because before he had a chance to settle into his new life he met his match! And together, Amanda and John got to experience Portland with wonder and amazement. For Amanda, all those hikes that had been hiked before were new again. And for John all those new places were made even more magical thanks to having Amanda at his side.

When I first met Amanda and John they mentioned how the Gorge was truly special to them. And so we went out to Rowena crest and Wahclella Falls for an engagement shoot. I soon realized that the Gorge isn't just special to them because of their mutual love for hiking and the outdoors, but it is also special because it is just one of those magical places where they spent time together while falling in love! From the ocean, to the mountains, to the Gorge, to every coffee shop in between these two Oregonians are taking on Portland together.

The wedding of Amanda and John was nothing short of spectacular! The joy, the laughter and the love was over flowing. Congratulations to Amanda and John!
